I’m Brian Lorencz, founder of Blue Steel Technologies. Before I started this company, I spent over 15 years in Information Technology, most recently as the Global IT Service Desk Manager for Desktop Metal, a worldwide leader in additive manufacturing. I led the consolidation of IT support into one global team and helped the company save $500,000 a year in the process. Along the way, I learned exactly how impersonal enterprise IT support can feel from the inside, tickets, tiers, and a different voice every time you call.

That’s what I built Blue Steel Technologies to fix.

Before IT, I served as a Marine Corps recruiter. That job taught me two things I bring to every client relationship: how to actually listen for what someone needs, not just what they say, and how to follow through when I tell you I’ll take care of something. Small businesses don’t need a call center, they need someone who picks up the phone and already knows their setup. That’s the standard I hold myself to.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Project Management and a Master of Science in Management and Leadership, along with a certification in Consultative Selling and Public Speaking and multiple IT certifications, including ITIL v4. But the credential that matters most to my clients is simpler: when something breaks, I answer.
